When you look at a painting, the painting looks at you.  Unless it's a Jackson Pollock.  Fecal matter doesn't have eyes with which to look.

  1. Great views of people in this art world captured doing simple tasks yet so much more going on. Love Escher who was superb at perceptions etc... Guernica is Picasso's masterpiece even though it is not my personal favourite. Ernst Kirschner's first work is quite the study of everything seemingly warped. Love Hopper and his often imitated painting.

    1. I could have gone with Three Musicians instead of Guernica, but then both of his would have been music-related. I know Guernica is the one people always talk about, but I still like it.

  2. I personally like A Bigger Splash. That may be because I'm dreaming of a getaway where a pool is involved. Sigh... I also like The Human Condition, Nighthawks, and Relativity.
