    1. Three points for you. The same three points I mentioned on your blog? Or a different, substitute three points, like an art thief replacing a painting with a forgery so nobody notices the theft? You may never know.

  2. Susan B. Anthony - social reformer and women’s rights activist. Anthony was not only a key activist in the women’s suffrage movement, but she was also anti-slavery. She was one of the first pioneers in social equality.

Amelia Earhart - aviation pioneer. I originally chose Sally Ride, the first American woman in space. I reconsidered when it occurred to me that Sally Ride may have been inspired by Amelia Earhart, the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. I think Earhart has probably inspired countless girls to dream big and to pursue careers and hobbies that were long considered for men only.

Margaret Sanger - feminist, women’s right activist, birth control activist. One of the freedoms I have enjoyed and utilized throughout my adulthood is the freedom to control whether I reproduced or not. As an early contraception activist, Sanger played a pivotal role in women taking control of their reproduction and health, for which I owe a huge thanks.

Rosa Parks - the “first lady of civil rights.” I think it says a lot when an ordinary person, who was marginalized not only for being a woman, but also for being a black woman, takes a stand and fights for freedom. Her refusal to give up her seat, led to the costly bus system boycott that finally brought an end to bus desegregation. This advanced the civil rights movement. Parks is a prime example of how change often begins with just one person.

    1. I was just on Twitter and they're talking about a photo that might mean Earhart didn't crash as thought.

      Anyway, three points for you.

  3. I tried this before and it never took so here I go again....James Stewart who's family go way back in fighting wars and he was no exception. He lead many bombing missions over Germany and once had to land his plane with the tires coming down! He fought for his men and they respected him. He even flew a couple of secret missions in Vietnam. Audie Murphy was the most decorated war veteran of the Second World War because he fought off an entire company of German soldiers and, even though wounded and out of ammunition, led a counterattack right after. Hedy Lamarr because, not only was she known for her beauty but she was highly intelligent and she co-invented and spread spectrum technology that would form an unbreakable code. U fortunately the allies didn't realize what they had u til much later...typical. She is a main reason why we have cell phone technology today. Why not Marlene Dietrich who flipped her nose at Hitler's invitation and decided to help the allies instead. She would sometimes be behind enemy lines entertaining the troops and almost died from pneumonia. She also decided to entertain many a soldier the only way Marlene knew how and thought that a fling with each before they die is the least she could do.
