Card Collecting 6: Fairfield Boxes

So I made another trip to Walgreen's and came away with two Fairfield baseball boxes and two Fairfield football boxes.

   

   

   

The pack in each baseball box was 1988 Score.  There were several of those Fleer Award Winners.  1988 Fleer was well-represented, with the best being Robin Yount and Lou Whitaker.  1988 Donruss and 1991 Donruss.  1981 Topps, but with bad centering and no star talent.


   


     
     
   

    

   

   

   

The pack in each football box was 2020 Leaf Draft.   Pro Set doesn't have much trade value, but I like their special cards.  A couple big-time Eagles, for the fan in me.  There was a Topps DeSean Jackson as well.  There were several good 2018 Donruss cards, but they're mostly retired players: John Elway, Tony Gonzalez, etc.  I respected Moss's game, but was never a fan. So this baby went straight to my trader / contest prize box.  Pat Thomas was a two-time Pro Bowler.
