So I made the trek to the post office Monday to send off a trade and some birthday cards. Stopped at ye olde hobby shoppe on the walk home and bought 8 more packs of 2007-08 Upper Deck Victory hockey.
- Four inserts, or one every two packs.
- Three Hall of Famer base cards, plus the Modano insert, though the Lindros is clearly a wrong team card.
- Nice to get a Thrasher worth keeping.
- A trio of goalies who had lengthy careers. I added nine goalie base cards to my collection, plus the Fleury insert.
- A couple Devils and a defunct team (Thrashers) for the give-away box.
Yeah... Lindros looks out of place wearing that Stars jersey. It's like seeing Sundin on the Canucks, Modano on the Wings, or Nabby on the Islanders.
