I grew up in the 80's and loved watching the NBA Finals featuring the Celtics vs. Lakers. My dad rooted for the Celtics... while I pulled for the Lakers. Good times.
My favorite rivalries would be:
#1: A's vs. Giants Battle of the Bay #2: Lakers vs. Celtics #3: Packers vs. Bears #4: Seahawks or Packers vs. 49ers #5: Packers vs. Cowboys
Obviously these are very personal picks... but I do think the ones you chose are universal awesome rivalries.
Showtime was fun. I grew up as a 76ers fan, so I hated the Celtics. I think Giants - Dodgers is more of a rivalry than Giants - A's. Packers - Bears is a good rivalry.
Minnesota-Ohio State a number of years ago. Vikings-Packers. Minnesota-Wisconsin. WILD-Dallas. Thank you for the winner's choice of MLB Mascots for me. I got them in the mail today. Great contest to be a part of. Thanks!

Yankees-Mets and Rangers-Islanders-Devils locally here. Not as much for the football and basketball teams.
