Always Amateur Hour
Four singles again:
- '74 Topps. Of course, his career highlight was playing for the Phillies.
- '67 Topps. Eight-time All-Star.
- '72 - 73 OPC double prints. Obviously, Roy is the GOAT. But Plante is top five. Mikita was a two-time MVP.
Tony Oliva. Great ballplayer.
Agree w/John. Read an article on him in Baseball Digest a few years ago that made me a fan.
Yeah. If I ever do a Cuban mini collection, he's an obvious inclusion.
Wow, hold old is Plante in that card?? The Oliva is cool...is he missing a tooth?
**how old
43 probably. Near the end of his career. Perhaps. It's a TCDB scan, but the gap shows up on the actual card too.
Mikita is a sweet one! Nice vintage stash! Gives me the warm fuzzies!
Thanks. Ha.
That Tony Oliva was the first card that I started my newly created batting glove collection with.
Matches the sleeves and the hat.None of my collections are that quirky. Possibly because I have a lot less cards than you do. I might have to think of something if I ever complete the mainstream collections I'm working on currently.
