ReplyDeleteOK, just realizing I didn't read the title of the entry!
DeleteI'm surprised in the long history of the team there weren't more Boston players.
ReplyDeleteMaybe there have been more from the suburbs.
Delete677 from Massachusetts.
Cool series. Can't wait to see your AL and NL West posts. I've got a few names that come to mind.
ReplyDeleteYour homey's from L.A. So don't get your hopes up.
DeleteSome other great Yankees from NYC include Waite Hoyt, Ed Lopat and Willie Randolph. Not too many lately. Too bad Manny Ramirez was never a Yankee. Marcus Stroman is a new one this year and has been OK.
ReplyDeleteRandolph's from South Carolina.
DeleteHoyt and Lopat are old-timers so I probably figured I had enough already and didn't bother looking them up.
I went by WAR so that might be why Stroman didn't make it.
