An Elliptical Contest: Round Two


This round is simple.  Pick the winners in the following categories at the 2017 Academy Awards:

Best Picture
Best Director
Best Actor
Best Actress
Best Supporting Actress
Best Supporting Actor
Best Writing (Original Screenplay)
Best Foreign Language Film

3 points for a perfect entry
2 points for the winning entry, if not perfect

If a tie, the above applies to each entrant involved in the tie, unless nobody gets a category right. In that case, no points will be awarded.

Deadline:  The start of the awards show telecast, on February 26.

      actress: emma fucking stone
      supporting actor: mahershala ali (score: two)
      supporting actress: viola davis (score: three)
      original screenplay: manchester by the sea (from what i understand there's no redemption in the thing, no growth... no arc, but sure, let's make this one the winner)
      foreign language flick: the salesman (from iran. because we're all about refugees right now... i should've known the winner would come from a hostile territory... silly me)
