Repack Attack

So I had to go up the hill to return some books to the library.  Stopped at Walgreen's on the way home.  They had 6 football repacks and I think I showed amazing restraint in only buying 2 of them.

The pack in both was 2020 Leaf Draft:  Highlights are an Emmitt Smith flashback, D'Andre Swift gold parallel Touchdown Kings, Tee Higgins All-American, and Jerry Jeudy All-American.

The bonus in the first one was a 1990 LSU Tigers multi-sport pack.  Eight cards - seven football and one basketball.  Highlights are a Bert Jones and a Steve Van Buren.  I don't know what happened to the bonus in the second pack.  Thinking it might just have been an extra card.  Lame.

2010 Score #145 Jamaal Charles Front   2010 Score #383 Rob Gronkowski Front

2010 Score #23 Michael Oher Front2018 Score #6 Tyrann Mathieu Front

     2017 Donruss #34 Ben Roethlisberger Front2017 Donruss #20 A.J. Green Front

2018 Donruss #261 Bobby Wagner Front  1980 Topps #503 Tony Greene Front

-  Excluding commons, I got 6 each of 2010 Score, 2017 Donruss, and 2018 Donruss.

-  Gronk used to play for the Patriots.  Some of you young tykes might think of him as a Buc.

-  Oher was the inspiration for The Blind Side.

Honey Badger's 2018 Score card.

-  Greene's 1980 Topps card.  He was a Pro Bowl selection n 1977.  In '76, he had a 101-yard INT return, which is still a Bills record.

-  I got a hit in each box.  This guy was a 2020 4th round pick out of football powerhouse Florida Atlantic.

-  I couldn't find a pic of the other one.  It's a 2011 Finest Jumbo Jersey Autograph Refractor (SN75) of Jerrel Jernigan.  He didn't do much in the NFL, though he was the Giants' kick-off returner in one of their Super Bowl wins.

  1. Got excited for a second when I saw the Bengals card. Always hoping to see a Tyler Boyd card that someone might be willing to trade.

    Good Job! 👍

  2. I'm struggling with free time... but your blog now has me interested in watching two sports movies: Hoosiers and The Blind Side.

    1. The Blind Side is very much a Sandra Bullock movie. I might have to do a sports movie post though.
