A poem for today.  With a title. Woo hoo!

Melinda

She bundles her secrets

In the folds of her kimono

And follows her origami dreams,

On swallows’ wings,

Through pagodas that reek

Of wisdom and sushi.

The computer-age samurai

Examine this occidental geisha

Over cups of tea

And chopsticks heavy with rice,

Fingers itching to loosen her obi

And unravel her mystery.
