A to Z Challenge: P

I had a poem ready for today: "Prelude to a Break-Up".  I also thought about posting a short story: "Perfection" or maybe "Paul and Jeremy".  I considered a post about paintings.

In the end though, P is for Poetry.  So let's get to it.

Robin Williams, in Dead Poets Society:

"Nirvana", by Charles Bukowski.  Read by Tom Waits:

"The Raven", by Edgar Allan Poe.  Read by Christopher Walken:

"Lovesong", by Ted Hughes.  Read by Florence Welch:

Leonard Cohen:

I write best when I cry. - Allen Ginsberg

A poem is a mirror walking down a strange street. - Lawrence Ferlinghetti

  2. I love that line from DPS - The play goes on and you get to contribute a verse. What will your verse be?

    2. LOL! You sweet talker, you! I remember DPS, for I was in high school when it came out. You are more than welcome to continue mistaking me for a younger person anytime.
