I haven't been doing this because I don't know football well enough, but since the Giants are my team, I tried this in my head before looking and got 6 of the 9. Thought of Bavaro but guessed you wouldn't include him. The only vintage guy I named was Spider Lockhart, probably from childhood memories. If I had gone back further I would have thought Frank Gifford before Robustelli, but he's a good pick and that's a cool card.

ReplyDeleteRobustelli's probably cheaper / more available than Gifford. I can't include Gifford because I don't have any of his cards.
DeleteJim Brown isn't in my Browns team page, even though he's clearly one of the best nine players in team history.
