They Fell off the Truck

I received some Phillies cards from Fuji.

Let's peruse the highlights.

-  The first 2 are UK minis.  Juan Samuel was a 3x All-Star.  Steve Bedrosian won a Cy Young Award in 1987.

-  Hollins and Dykstra were important parts of the '93 pennant winners.  The latter was 2nd in MVP voting.

-  I got Combs' autograph back in the day.  At the Stick. (Yes, I'm old.)

Thanks, Fuji.

Scoring from My Dealer: Card Shop Part Two

I bought a binder with a mix of baseball, basketball, football, hockey, and soccer cards.  Mostly cards from recent years, and a lot of inserts and parallels.

-  Caminero seems to have some power.  We'll see if he can sustain it.

-  A few Phillies.

-  Julio played for Modesto.

-  Acuna's got the talent, but he needs to be more durable.

-  When I was living in Philly, I saw Piazza help the Dodgers beat the Phillies.  When I was living in San Diego, I saw Piazza help the Mets beat the Padres.
