Music Monday

The single "We Are the World" was released 31 years ago today.  So let's take the tour.

"Don't Cry for Me, Argentina" - Sarah Brightman:  Written for the musical Evita,  about Eva Peron, the second wife of Argentine President Juan Peron.

"London Calling" - The Clash:  Nuclear meltdown, flooding, police brutality, drugs.  Good times.

"Africa" - Toto:  I almost went with "Sun City" for this one.

"Istanbul" - They Might Be Giants

"One Night in Bangkok" - Murray Head: From the musical Chess.
