Scoring from My Dealer

 

I bought a 2025 Topps Holiday baseball box at Target.  Let's peruse some highlights.

-  Short print Skubal.  I also got the base.

-  Trout was a big deal back in the day.  

-  Acuna would be a big deal if he could stay healthy.

-  Julio played for Modesto.  

-  Kershaw was a big deal. 

-  Soto had an impressive statistical season but the Mets missed the playoffs.

-  Shohei didn't pitch much this season.

-  Phillies legend Wheeler striking out Ohtani.

-  Phillies legend Harper had a good season, but he's been better.

-  Tatis was a big deal, but a season-long suspension put a damper on that.

-  I liked Lindor more when he wasn't a Met. 

-  Merrill in the City Connect uni.  I also got a fancy parallel but the image isn't up on TCDB yet.

-  Phillies legend Realmuto is a free agent.

-  Wood has the potential to be a big deal. 

-  With 200 cards in the base set, it's easy to get stars.  I had less luck with the parallels and the Christmas ornament.  Garret Crochet is probably the second best parallel.   

-  Unfortunately, there's an H in front of the card numbers so they aren't frankenset eligible.  Still a fun set for a one-and-done though.
