Card Collecting 12: Waiting for a Starr to Fall

into my arms, baby, yeah.

So Tim, from Cardpocalypse, suggested a few ideas for blog posts.  One of them is favorite card acquired during quarantine.

Not only did I trade for this gem, but I got it from somebody who lives in Green Bay, Wisconsin.  I have now completed 2 / 3 of the Holy Trinity.

The wait is over, yet the music remains.

  1. That's a big time card to trade for, makes me wonder what you had to give up to get it?

    1. I gave up 9 cards - mostly Packers.

A James Jones swatch card, 3 Panini Black Friday - Favre, Aaron Rodgers, Dalvin Cook, a Julius Pepppers (as a Packer) gold parallel, a Jameis Winston SN249, a Randall Cobb Topps Valor parallel, and a couple more Aaron Rodgers cards - a base and an emerald parallel.

  2. What a classic! I’m with Jon, curious what you had to trade to bring that Starr home.

    1. I'm glad somebody watched the video. They wrote Whitney Houston's "How Will I Know", if you think you'd prefer that.
