DeleteSeeing Kramer vs. Kramer right after you talk about Woody Allen is interesting; Meryl Streep recently talked about how Dustin Hoffman was so committed to imposing his idea of method acting that he was harmful to her and to their young co-star Justin Henry.

I knew Streep had issues with some of the stuff he did. I did not know it extended to J. Henry.
DeleteDe Niro was big on method acting, but a lot of that was preparation: learning Sicilian for Godfather 2, learning how to play the sax for New York, New York, adding all that weight for Raging Bull, etc.
I don't think that I've ever seen Unfaithful mentioned on anyone's list of favorite films before. It's not one for me, but do like seeing someone daring to be different with their list.
