I've been seeing a lot of talk about the "national" convention. Checked their web-site - they haven't been west of the Mississippi since 2006 and won't be the next two years at least.
Did my country lose a war when I wasn't paying attention?
Sure wish it'd make it out to the west coast at some point. Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas, or Phoenix would be nice.

DeleteNot sure if that was because of the proximity to Disneyland or if the convention center was cheaper than L.A.
Yeah, that's pretty crazy. There's no reason on Earth it shouldn't be in California sometimes, and there are other choices too.
