Incoming

So I received about a dozen cards form Chris (The Collector).  Let's take a goose at the highlights, because ganders are too expensive.

1991-92 Hoops #101 Magic Johnson Front

1991-92 Hoops #248 Charles Barkley Front  1990-91 Hoops #10 Dennis Rodman Front

As a patriotic American, I hated the Celtics.  But sometimes my beloved 76ers couldn't get it done. So the Lakers were my last hope.  And Showtime was a lot more fun than whatever the Celtics were doing.

Doc's retirement hurt, but at least he announced it in advance.  The Barkley trade just sucked.

Defensive Player of the Year twice.  Married to Carmen Electra.  Ambassador to North Korea.  Here he is wearing #10 (his Pistons number) on card #10.

1993 SP #200 Fred Barnett Front  2016 Donruss #66 Ickey Woods Front

Starting WR during the Buddy Ryan era.  Had a brief encounter with his family in the Candlestick parking lot.

Ickey of Ickey Shuffle fame.  I've never liked the Bengals uniforms, but those helmets are elite.

1989 Donruss #5 Robin Yount Front

1989 Donruss #193 Mike Schmidt Front  1986 Topps #10 Tony Gwynn Front

Only three of these baseball players are Hall of Famers.  Chris tries though.

Yount was AL MVP as a shortstop and then as a center fielder.

Obviously, MJ is legendary.  Even basketball fans talk about him.

San Diego State basketball's all-time assists leader.  I gave away all my Gwynn cards in a Covid-19 contest on TCDB, so it's nice to make some progress on a rebuild.
