1982 - 1995 was a troubling time for the Empire. Rebel scum won every World Series, every AL pennant, and every AL East Division title over the 14-year stretch. The Empire missed the playoffs 13 consecutive seasons before settling for a Wild Card birth (and a first round playoff exit) in 1995. But a World Series win in '96 signaled a return to their rightful domination of the baseball galaxy. They would go on to win the World Series in 1998, 1999, 2000, and 2009.
