If I could save only one:  Rocky

Last week's answer:  Rocky

This week's question:  There will be five movies next week.  Which organization is featured in all five?

Leaderboard

Jon:  4

Brett Alan:  3

Note:  There has been a query about prizes.  The winner will get a PWE of cards from his / her chosen sport.  There will also be points for the top three finishers: 3 for first, 2 for second, and 1 for third.  I plan on having occasional auctions for people to bid on prizes with their accumulated points.

If a non-collector wins, I'll find a different prize to send.

  1. Nothing against Demi Moore, but I'm glad she wasn't available. Geena Davis was great in that. Eight Men Out is another favorite of mine--John Sayles made some terrific films.

I'll say the organization is the United States Air Force.

    1. Yeah, it seems like a weird choice. Demi was good at sexy (Disclosure, Indecent Proposal), but this role wasn't really about that.

  2. Enter the Dragon is my favorite from this list. If you're a Bruce Lee fan, you might like this show called The Warrior on HBO Max. It's kind of like Bruce Lee meets Peaky Blinders.

Jon & Brett have this contest pretty much locked down... but I'm a huge Star Wars fan, so I'll throw out a guess this week: The Galactic Empire.

    1. I considered Major League. But I figured two baseball movies was enough.

  4. The baseball films are the ones I've seen here, though I probably saw at least part of Rocky way back when.

I'll guess the NYPD will be featured in the next post.

  5. Sports and romantic comedies are the two genres I usually steer clear of. That being said, Rocky was, and still is, really great. I don't think I consider Enter the Dragon to be a sports film.

    I'll guess the FBI.

    1. Yeah, it might be more of a crime film. But it's centered around a martial arts tournament.
