Scoring from My Dealer

So I traded a 1952 reprint set (that was in the cards my mother brought down) and a Padres coffee mug.  Let's look at what I got.

Three packs of Japanese baseball cards, from 2000.  I'll just show a few here:

-  A lot of the pics aren't up on TCDB, but I got several All-Star level players.  Hiroki Kuroda and Bobby Rose being the best probably.

-  It's a lot easier to read their names on the front in real life.

-  Bob Wolcott

-  Orlando Merced

-  Tetsuya Kakiuchi

-  Sherman Obando

-  Tomohiro Kuroki

  1. I don't know how much the reprint sets sell for, but I'd almost say that just those first four cards would've been worth the trade alone.

    1. The four singles were $10 each and he gave me $50 credit for the reprint set.

He gave me $5 credit for the mug and the Japanese packs were $5 each.

  2. If the reprint set was from 1983, it goes for quite a bit.

    1. I'm not going to get the best deals in San Diego. It is what it is.

  3. That's pretty cool that your dealer carries Japanese baseball packs. Was the 1952 reprint set... the one that Topps released back in the 80's?

  4. Robin Roberts looks quite disturbed, never saw that card before.
